Responsibilities:

  • Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
  • Liaising with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behaviour and/or any potential changes clients would like
  • Helping the sales team to reach targets
  • Conducting research into the industry – including competitor research
  • Clear communication and articulation without any ambiguity
  • Be able to create product presentations
  • Take ownership of the success of the customer with a “gets this customer” attitude
  • Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users
  • Should be able to travel to customer sites

Requirements:

  • Leadership and communication skills & Presentation skills
  • Experience in working with customers and understanding their problems
  • Interest in and understanding of the industry – often a technology-related one
  • Ability to research and keep on top of industry developments
  • Influencing and negotiation skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in Sales and / or software development area

  • To understand customers’ needs from a solution perspective
  • To deal with customer in the entire sales life cycle and be able to build good relationship
  • Clear communication and articulation without any ambiguity
  • Take ownership of the success of the customer with a go-getter attitude
  • Help to shape product better by providing continuous inputs from the field
  • To travel to customer sites

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Desirable:

  • Experience in the field electronic component selling
